Nablusi Interpretation: Crescent

Seeing a crescent in a dream is interpreted as a good child. Also, a crescent dream indicates a government position, earnings in trade life, profit, and benefit. Seeing several crescents gathered in one place in a dream signifies that the dreamer will perform the pilgrimage obligation, according to the verse, 'They ask you about the new moons...' (Al-Baqarah, 189). Seeing the crescent fall to the ground in a dream is a sign of a child to be born. Additionally, seeing the crescent in a dream indicates victory over the enemy, strength and power, and that the time for deferred matters has come.

Sometimes, seeing the crescent in a dream indicates a queen, commander, military leader, newborn child, or sudden good deed. Seeing the crescent during the Hajj season or on the days of Hajj signifies going on Hajj. Seeing the crescent outside its time and season in a dream signifies news that brings relief and joy, the return of a lost person, or acquiring wealth. Seeing that many people are looking at the crescent but cannot see it, and only oneself sees it, indicates that death is near for the dreamer.

If a person sees the crescent on its first night in a dream, it signifies that his wife will become pregnant, or if his wife is already pregnant, that she will give birth to a boy. Again, the crescent in a dream indicates the rebellious person repenting, the disbeliever becoming Muslim, a person in prison being saved, the sick recovering, and being freed from troubles.

The crescent is being together with a few young men. The full moon is that he will be a father; if he acts so that his work and his affairs go well, it is monetary power and the allotted fortunes opening. The crescent is the allotted fortunes coming one upon another. The two flags show that two people may knock at his door at any moment, and that he will come through to safety.
