Dreaming of Egg

Seeing freshly cooked eggs in a dream signifies sustenance that is obtained easily. Seeing a hen laying eggs in a dream is interpreted as a child. Eating raw eggs in a dream indicates unlawful wealth. Seeing that one has eaten raw eggs signifies sorrow and grief.

Ja'far al-Sadiq (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Seeing eggs in a dream is interpreted in nine ways:

a) Child, b) People of the household, c) Wealth, d) Honor, e) Rank, f) Seeking a need, g) Achieving a desire, h) Servant, i) Wife.

Seeing freshly cooked eggs in one’s hand in a dream indicates the handling of difficult and arduous matters and wealth.

Sometimes, seeing eggs in a dream also signifies beautiful women, the gathering of relatives, family, and friends, and saving money.

Seeing oneself breaking a fresh egg, cooking it in oil, and eating it in a dream is a sign of honor, relief, joy, sustenance, benefit, and wealth.

Seeing a parrot's egg in a dream indicates a pious and virtuous servant. Seeing a crane's egg signifies a poor and humble child.

Seeing oneself being given an egg in a dream indicates having an honorable and precious child.

Sometimes, an egg also signifies a child, spouse, servant, or property.

Seeing oneself peeling a cooked egg in a dream indicates acquiring the property of one's servants. For this reason, the egg white is interpreted as silver, and the yolk as gold.
