Ibn Sirin Interpretation: Famine
If one sees the rulers of his country suffering from a famine in a dream, it represents their greed, terrorization of their subjects and the sufferings of the people. If one sees scholars suffering from a famine in a dream, it signifies their thirst or lust for knowledge. (Also see Little)
