Nablusi Interpretation: Light
Seeing light and brightness in a dream indicates Islam and guidance. If a polytheistic person sees in a dream that he ascends from darkness to light, this dream indicates that he will be honored with faith and Islam.
Also, seeing light and brilliance in a dream indicates repentance after rebellion, insight after wrongdoing, turning toward knowledge and wisdom, and turning to Almighty God.
Seeing oneself emerging from light into darkness or plunging into darkness in a dream manifests as the exact opposite of the above interpretation. That is, the person becomes one of the people of innovation (heretics).
They fall from wealth to poverty, from honor to disgrace, and from guidance to deviation. Sometimes, seeing light signifies righteous and good deeds, knowledge, the Qur’an, a virtuous child, and a scholar.
Seeing a person in a dream dressed in a garment of light or wearing a shirt of light indicates beneficial knowledge. If a woman sees light emanating from her chest in a dream, it signifies that she will have a righteous and knowledgeable child, and everyone will benefit from them. This dream carries the same meaning for a man as well.
