Dreaming of Nape

Nablusî (may Allah be pleased with him) said: If someone sees the nape of the neck in a dream, it indicates things spoken about a person such as disparagement, advancement, retreat, honor, humiliation, or debt. Sometimes, the nape of the neck also signifies that a person will investigate someone’s work. Seeing that the nape is thick in a dream indicates that the person will have patience and endurance regarding what Allah has decreed for them. Seeing one’s nape hair shaved in a dream is a sign of returning entrusted goods to their rightful place and paying debts.

Ja'far al-Sadiq (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Seeing the neck and nape as long in a dream is interpreted in four ways:

a) The result of affairs,

b) Justice,

c) Guardianship,

d) The call to prayer.

Seeing that a person's nape is thick, white, pleasantly scented, clear, and bright in a dream indicates that something good will emerge. Ibn Sirin said: Seeing the neck and nape in a dream signifies a truthful friend, a trustworthy companion, and a paid servant. Seeing an enemy on the nape in a dream indicates overcoming the enemy, prevailing over them, strength, and power.

Bending the nape down in a dream, or seeing a wound or boil on the nape, indicates insult, sorrow, and distress. The beauty and thickness of the nape signify a person's strength and the prosperity of their livelihood. Seeing in a dream something on the nape that is disliked or considered shameful while awake is not good and does not indicate benefit. Seeing someone choking another person or oneself in a dream indicates distress, necessity, difficulties, and sorrow.

Seeing in a dream that your neck is short as if buried between your shoulders indicates that your affairs will end successfully. Seeing in a dream that a person's neck is beautiful, shiny, and straight indicates that they are just in their deeds and work.
