Dreaming of Nudity

Nakedness seen in a dream signifies the well-being and good condition of the inner self. Sometimes, it also indicates something that will cause a person regret. It is said: Seeing the body naked but the private parts covered in a dream indicates being granted forgiveness and pardon, and achieving victory.

Jabir al-Maghribi said:

“- Nakedness, especially if the entire private area is uncovered, indicates trouble and disgrace. Seeing in a dream that a woman's private area is uncovered and she is naked signifies being humiliated and disgraced among all people, leading to trouble and sorrow.” Seeing oneself naked in a gathering in a dream is a sign of being humiliated and disgraced for that person.

A sick man seeing himself undressing from yellow clothing in a dream indicates recovery from illness. Undressing from red and black clothing is also interpreted in this way.

Seeing a sorrowful and sad man naked in a dream indicates that he will be released from his grief. Seeing people devoted to worship and obedience naked in a dream is a sign of their piety and generosity.

If a person sees himself naked in a dream, feeling ashamed in front of others and looking for something to cover himself but cannot find it, it indicates harm, loss, and poverty.

Seeing people looking at one's private parts in a dream indicates that a governor or a state official might be dismissed from their duty.

Seeing a deceased person naked in a dream, with private parts covered, suggests that the deceased left the world without earning merit, but will be blessed with the rewards of paradise.

If a woman sees herself undressing from a black garment and becoming naked in a dream, it signifies attaining light and relief after darkness.

If the woman who sees the dream is black, it is interpreted with a dark night; if she is white, it is interpreted with a moonlit night.

Kirmani said: “Seeing oneself naked and undressed for a purpose in a dream, if this purpose is related to religion (like ritual washing), indicates achieving good and engaging in worship.”

Seeing oneself undressed in a mosque in a dream indicates being cleansed of sins and turning to repentance.

Again, if a woman sees herself naked in a dream, it is not a sign of good. If she is married, she may get divorced or encounter another misfortune.
